The main purpose of the job is to identify new business opportunities including new markets, growth areas, trends, customers, products, services, and guides long-term objectives to meet business needs and requirement
Responsible for Engaging new enterprise customers and finding new business opportunities
Build pipeline in line with sales strategy
Lead, train & develop customers to maximize product/services
Expand the existing customer base

Maintain contact with both Key Partners and Vendors to ensure high levels of satisfaction
Align all sales resources touching customers to ensure consistent engagement and achievement of the agreed sales goals (this includes Revenue, GP, Margin Contribution, Customer breadth and Product Ranging).
Lead, Motivate, develop and select a diverse sales force in your region. Making sure that the sales force is adequately trained, coached and guided to achieve goals and maximum potential.
Project a positive image of the company in the competitive market & with valued customers.
Identify customer’s needs and convert them into committed clients.
Hold regular meetings with the Clients to review performance, Pipeline and Project Planning.
Effectively communicate to admin team to achieve set objectives and deliver on turnover and margin requirements.
Work with channel partners, to understand market changes and demands.
Effectively work with product managers to promote sell out and assist with aged stock sell out.
To achieve targets set, drive a quarterly Business plan and Partner Marketing Plan.
Assist on company events with sales
Make sure that each objective set is achieved.
Measured and assessed performance on a half yearly basis
Develop a team strategy to further improve customer satisfaction and experience
Implement development programs that increase awareness of supplier program and initiative
MINIMUM SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
Matric or equivalent
BCom / Business Science, BA business management or equivalent
Minimum of 3 – 5 years in a Sales Business Development Role
Key Accounts Sales and Marketing experience
Minimum 3-5 years industry/IT/ID products sales experience
Possession of a reliable vehicle, own laptop and a valid driver’s license
Detailed understanding of turnover and profitability, sales cycle, aged stock and key products
Strong business acumen
A high level of communication skills, both written and oral.
